A contractual fee is the most frequent method of negotiation of the remuneration between the client and the solicitor. As opposed to the non-contractual fee, the contractual fee for the provision of legal services is determined individually by mutual agreement, depending on the legal and time demands of the relevant legal service.
The hourly rate usually fluctuates between 1.500 and 2.000 CZK per hour.
Provided that there is no contractual fee agreed between the client and the solicitor, a non-contractual fee can be used. Determination of the non-contractual fee is governed by The Decree of Ministry of Justice No. 177/1996 Coll., on Remuneration and Reimbursement of Solicitors for the provision of Legal Services (Solicitor’s Tariff) as subsequently amended.
I am subject to VAT.
The fee does not include expense allowance such as legal charges, travel expenses, notarial fees, charges for experts, interpreters, etc. The expense allowance invested during the provision of legal services will be subsequently accounted to the client, if there are any.
We are able to adjust the fee individually with respect to the assumed difficulty of the legal service, the value in question and financial possibilities of the client.
The client is always informed of the presumptive extent of the work and costs, which will be probably necessary to invest in resolving the case. The same happens during the proceeding of a case.
